The study program of basic academic studies in Urban Engineering is accredited by the Certificate of Accreditation of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance No. 612-00-00595 / 2013-04 of 24.05.2013. years.
The study program lasts four years (240 ECTS), belongs to the field of interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, transdisciplinary (IMT) studies and gives the academic title "graduate engineer of urban engineering and regional development".
Admission requirements: In the first year of basic academic studies, a person with a four-year high school diploma has the right to enroll, who passes the entrance exam in mathematics and takes a place on the ranking list within the number of students approved by the University of Kragujevac and the Government of Serbia. for enrollment in the first year of basic academic studies.
The conditions for enrollment in the study program and other most important elements of the study program and study regime are prescribed by the Statute and the Rulebook on the regime of basic and master studies of the Faculty of Engineering.
In addition to taking the exam, the realization of professional practice is also planned, as well as the preparation of the final paper.

Upon completion of basic studies in Urban Engineering, the expected learning outcomes are:
- knowledge of fundamental disciplines and interdisciplinary strategies and concepts (mathematics, mechanics, sustainable development, urban design and planning, energy technologies, etc.) at the level expected of engineers of this profile in EU countries;
- ability to define and develop modern infrastructural solutions that will ensure unhindered local economic development, provide quality of life and preservation of the environment;
- mastery of acquired knowledge in the context ("knowledge as the ability to access information and its creative use");
- mastering the broader context of perceiving engineering problems, which means taking into account economic, environmental, organizational and social relations;
- understanding of different approaches and methodologies of analysis and synthesis of systems, facilities and processes, as well as reading and creating relevant technical documentation.
