The Center for Traffic Safety (CBS) was established in 1994. The founder of CBS is prof. Dr. Aleksandra Janković.
CBS's activity is focused, as a matter of priority, on issuing certified copies of certificates issued by CBS in the previous period. In addition, CBS has the ability to solve complex problems in the field of traffic management in cities and traffic accident expertise.
Following the idea that engineers for motor vehicles and traffic are the most competent subject in performing numerous technical expertise, control of modified vehicles, consultations for technical solutions, as well as that they are qualified for other related jobs, contributed to the Center's activities being wide. The activity of CBS attracts the attention of students and postgraduates, so a significant number decide to write graduate theses or continue their education in the field of vehicle safety and traffic safety.

Considering the topicality of car safety and problems related to the organization of traffic in cities, which is inevitably reflected in the world in our country, there is a lot of space for the development of this area, as well as education of staff dealing with vehicles from different aspects. Multi- and inter-discipline of vehicle and traffic safety in general are an incentive to expand the scope of CBS and to involve young staff in promising jobs.
